Description:

Client has initiated a program to enhance the capabilities of a data compliance platform.  The improvements (specified below) focus on the extension of the API as well as the physical model to accommodate additional data.   The program also aims to deliver graphical user interfaces for the display (initially) then the manipulation of agreement data.  Modifications will be made to the tool to allow the storage of new types of agreements (listed below).  Finally the project will be responsible for migrating existing data into the tool.  

Responsibilities:

·         This python developer will help lead the way and migrate the firm's documentation platform to the new target state.  

·         A big plus would be to have familiarity developing document storage and workflow systems.

·         The initial work is technical; mid-next year it will go into more new development versus migration and will have a bit more business interaction. 

·         This is Middle Office, not Front Office and has little business user interaction.

Qualification:

·         Candidates should be good problem solvers, be able learn quickly and have excellent communication skills. 

·         Desirable (but not mandatory) experience with building out GUI applications (Django) and experience with object oriented databases (Cassandra). 

·         Other nice to have skills: wxPython, wxWidgets, or Tkinter.
