Relevant Experience (Yrs): 

Overall experience level of 5+ years, on Sharepoint 2010 

Necessary Skills: 

•Ability to carry out following Sharepoint activities

oCustom Web Part Development, consumer/provider.

oExperience using the SharePoint Server 2010 and MOSS 2007 - Server (SharePoint APIs) and Client (Web Service) object models, WCF ,ListData.svc, RESTFUL URLs,  query data by using CAML over the Client Object Model

oExperience using .NET Framework versions 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0

oExperience C#, VB.NET, T-SQL,ASP, ASP.NET, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, VBScript, PHP, HTML, DHTML, XML, XSLT, LINQ, SOAP, Web Service

oExperience with VS2010, VS2008, TFS2008 and/or TFS2010, SharePoint Designer

oCustom branding and customization - master pages, site templates and site definitions, page layouts, custom content types, CSS, etc.

oBack Office Systems integration - using BDC, BDS, external lists, develop custom interface (web parts) to consume/visualize the data

oWorkflow development - custom actions, event receivers, create, implement and debug a timer Job, etc.

oExperience with third party tools, integration of ASP.net custom controls, etc.

oExperience with PowerShell, SilverLight,

 

Desired Skills

•Good communication skills since the agency is accustomed to getting frequent SharePoint.

•Experience of work at client site in US geography

•Exposure/knowledge to media industry preferred

Roles & Responsibilities: 

•Interface with BU leads on business requirements for a new or modified existing site with possible solutions

•Workflow development , Custom Web Part Development, Back Office Systems integration

•Provide technical assistance to users on the Intranet and customer Connect sites

•Review existing system landscape of data and designing.

Generic Managerial Skills  : 

•Talk to end users, development and testing teams -  provide solutions to their issues
