Requirements Ownership
Monitor and govern of technical effort around requirements satisfaction
Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks
Owns and plans the roadmap of committed development work
Consistently applies significant knowledge of Agile/Lean methods to the execution of development work
Creates estimates for development work, executes development plans and change manages as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Keeps Technology management, Program and Product Management well informed of status of development effort.
Serves as liaison between development staff and key stakeholders.
Communicates and enforces development standards.
Solution Development and Delivery
Understands intimately the dependencies between components and how they combine to deliver service to the end consumer and to the business.
Consistently creates high-quality well documented, easily sustained deliverables and documentation.
Pragmatic and innovative, applies component and business knowledge in the evolution of the development roadmap.
Provides technical direction for the development, design and deployment from definition phase through implementation and maintenance.
Understands and balances commercial needs against technical requirements and capabilities.
