Description of Services:
.NET developer:
Experience developing web application using technology like ASP.NET AJAX, JQuery
Position Responsibilities:
• Create scalable ASP .NET / WCF / MS SQL based solutions
• Drive system architectural decisions and development standards
• Multi-task across several ongoing projects and daily duties of varying priorities as required
• Provide input into each phase of the systems development cycle as required
• Create detailed technical specifications and release documentation for assigned projects
• Ensure adherence to published development standards, resulting in consistent implementation of project component
• Ability to make good judgments, decisions, negotiate and problem solve
• Work closely with customers and business owners
Prerequisites
• 5+ years of development experience
• Minimum of 3 years of web development with ASP .NET and C#
• Project team leadership experience
• Strong understanding of software design patterns (GoF)
• Hands on experience using WCF in a Service Oriented Architecture
• Experience with agile development practices that include test driven development and continuous integration skills
• Knowledge of UML and system design
• Detailed-oriented with a proven history as a self starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and effective time management skills
• Results oriented
• Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
