A Scrum Master coordinates Sprint planning; facilitates daily Stan-up meetings (Scrums) and Joint Application Design sessions (JADs); removes impediments, acts as a proxy for management in keeping team on track.

· Manages the Sprint process leveraging team members to:

- Hold productive meetings

- Capture, record and link requirements, stories, tasks, and development using Rational Team Concert and Rational Requirements Composer

- Guides the Sprint Team to full functionality and productivity through the Sprint process

- Keep Release/Sprint information consolidated, organized and up to date

- Reports activity and progress to the PMO

· Gains an understanding of the vision for NY-HX and how their Sprints fits and supports that vision

· Facilitates close cooperation across all roles and functions in and related to the Sprint Team reinforcing Agile processes

· Collaborates with other Scrum Masters, Requirements Manager, Development Manager, Architecture Manager and Testing Manager to

- Synchronize activities

- Maintain common nomenclature across Sprints

- Develop and follow common (standard) approaches and structures across Sprints

- See that everyone has information, training and equipment needed

- Execute responsibilities for Scope and Change Management

Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelors degree in relevant field or combination of education and experience

2. Masters Degree preferred

3. Three (3) to five (5) years of health care experience at a health plan of provider organization

4. Five (5) or more years experience bringing projects in on scope, on time and on budget as Project Manager

5. Success in facilitating groups of strong personalities to produce usable work products

6. PMP or Scrum Master Certification a plus

7. Proficiency in MS Office suite ( including MS Project and Visio) necessary

8. proficiency with MS Project

9. Familiarity with a Requirements capture methodology desirable
