 Location: Bentonville, AR

Duration:  6+

 

 

MAIN SKILLS:

  ERWIN, Logical Modeling, Normalization of Databases, Zachman Framework. The position is for a Data Modeler, not an Architect.

  

HIRING PROCESS: 2 Phone Screens to Hire

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

- Logical Modeler, mid-level skills,

 

· Experience in creating enterprise-level logical data models

 

· Experience in creating enterprise-level canonical model

 

· Expert in ERWIN data modeling tool (also ability to document usable designs)

 

· Understand core concepts of logical data modeling

 

- Working with entities and attributes

 

· Understand Zachman Framework

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

 

· Retail domain knowledge is helpful, also Wholesale, Distribution background a plus.

 

· Experience with ARTS model is helpful

 

· Experience with Ignite XML is helpful

 

· Experience with ProVision is helpful

· Experience in Dimensional Modeling is helpful

 

· Experience modeling Logistics and/or HR systems is helpful

 

 SOFT SKILLS:

 

- Excellent customer interaction and consultative abilities, working with business users and technical staff

 

- Excellent team skills. Will work on a team with other modelers (physical and logical) and the design team
