Position: Technical Architect - Infrastructure
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 1+ Year
Required Skills:
Should have clear understanding of Data center operations but depth in HW & SW of Data center. Person would support analysis and recommendations around efficiency, consolidation and augmentation. Specific platform understanding and experience would include IBM AIX UNIX, IBM Z10 Mainframes, Wintel Servers and Virtual Machines. Some knowledge of storage could be helpful but not mandatory. Understanding of IBM Tiviloi monitoring toolsets. Focus would also include virtualization discussions on both all platforms. Review of DR/HA approach, processes and technologies would be another requirement but not necessary to be too deep.
Ability to assist in assessment of future state of data centers within the client.
Ultimately the person needs to be a master in the Data center domain and can with direction assess the current state and make recommendations for future.
Knowledge of Cloud Computing and Virtualization trends, practices and technologies
This person needs to be articulate and needs to take direction well along with being collaborative with others in track and across tracks.
