Liferay Developer- San Jose - onsite
6 month with possible year extension
Description:
We are looking for a Liferay Developer for a long term project dealing with a portal implementation at that will be working for one of our clients. The project will involve a complete build of a Liferay environment for a large West Coast Company. The project itself should be roughly 6 to 12 months in length and will involve working with a team. This person should have had experience prior to this as a strong java developer typical Liferay client work requires a team composing of 50% front end UI and 50% backend development.
Attributes of the ideal candidate:
- Liferay 6.1 ideal
- Developer: core Java skills (3+ years) combined with CMS/Portal experience as well as experience in API or Web service development.
- Interactive Developer: standard Javascript and HTML5 with an added plus if they have some experience in Java dev.
- Would like someone to be well rounded with development and have some architecture/design skills
