Software Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
End Date: 3/1/2013

Job Description:
Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and verifies that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines.
Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers.
Usual requirement is a four-year college degree in field of specialty.
Participates in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions.
Provides quality assurance estimates for resource and project planning purposes.
Creates test data and maintains regression test suites.
Represents QA status during technical meetings, as needed.
Works under minimal supervision
Skills Required:
Proven ability to write simple SQL queries Good knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies.
Good problem solving skills.
Good time management skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to a diverse range of customers
Skills Preferred but Not Required:
Automation
