Job Description:

 

The mission of ELIS is to develop a comprehensive, dynamic, web-based, centralized information system to better support Florida's Office of Early Learning's mission of delivering quality School Readiness and Voluntary Prekindergarten Education programs to Florida's children.  The solution for the FL ELIS project has changed and we have moved from a custom solution to a COTS solution using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

 

Position Details for Performance Tester

 

Consultant Role/Responsibilities or Tasks on Project:  Performance Tester on the Testing Team

 

Skills Required: 

 

·         5 + Years of HP LoadRunner experience

·         Proficient in Performance Test Plan Development

·         Proficient in creating workload profiles

·         Proficient in scripting and recording scenarios in LoadRunner

·         Design Test Strategy, identify Test Environment Specifications, develop Test Plans, and Load Params

·         Understand analysis and interpretations of Performance Tests to determine future tests

·         Ensure Performance Test Executions quality, validity and repeatability

·         Expert knowledge and experience with Load Runner

·         Experience in performance testing projects and providing direction to junior testers and supporting team member

·         Build relationships with customer support groups members and stakeholders

·         Ability to clearly communicate with all involved support groups, an effectively communicate test project status with internal and customer

·         Ability to coordinate with multiple streams to execute tests which maximizes test window and minimizes test re-run efforts

·         Analyze requirements and use performance development experience to identify performance risk areas for the application

·         Ongoing monitoring of key performance metrics and ensure code under development stays within pre-defined performance thresholds (Wily Dashboards, Junit Test Suite)

·         Analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend enhancement options

·         Coordinate across all enterprise system groups to ensure overall system performance goals will be met

·         Assist in diagnostic sessions and war rooms with key stakeholders to generate options and formulate plans for corrective action

·         Collaborate with the Performance Dev Lead to evaluate, design, improve and enforce performance best practices in the codebase on
