We are looking for Sybase DBA – Location - Colorado Springs, CO -  11+ Months Contract Position.

Job Description:

This DBA will be working directly with several different application development teams to provide test system support and database change support. The applicant must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent personal time management skills. 

Skills Required

·         Demonstrated DBA knowledge and experience with Sybase 12.5 and Sybase 15 to include migrations and upgrades.

·         Demonstrated DBA knowledge and experience with Sybase IQ product.

 

Additional Job Info:

The focus should be on previous experience with Sybase IQ (including 15.x), migrations/upgrades, design (including star schemas/dimensional modeling) and technical leadership traits and skills.

 

This Sybase DBA does NOT need to have ASE or replication server experience. It is a nice to have though because then they would be able to help out the other database team if needed.
