Application Developer (Jr .Net Programmer)
Location: Dublin, OH
Duration: 3 months
MUST HAVES:
1.net and java web development
2. Writing sql statements and report generation
3. Design documentation
4. Technical and non-technical requirements documentation and analysis
5. Application and env. health monitoring and analysis
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Developer position requirements: The selected candidate will work with a
small team building & supporting applications that support medical benefits
investigations. They will be working on new product development (Desktop
and Web applications), integration with existing systems, systems support,
enhancement and maintenance of this suite of applications. Energetic, selfstarter
with experience in the following:
1. Create and maintain web applications using DotNetNuke, ASP.NET, VB.Net, Ajax, and HTML.
a.Create web applications, collecting and posting data and reports from a source of SQL Server Databases.
b. Experience with AJAX using jQuery and ASP.Net is a big positive.
Additional Qualifications Required:
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of development experience with Microsoft Studio tools.
• Extensive Web development background.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional code.
• Work effectively with other technical team members.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills.
SKILLS:
Software must haves: Visual Studio 2000, 2005, 2008, 2010 DotNetNuke
Visual Source Safe IIS Server Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 MS
Office Cognos 7/8, including Framework and ReportNet Sharepoint, Adobe
Photoshop or Gimp Microsoft SSRS Languages: ASP.Net VB.Net, HTML,
JavaScript / jQuery, XML, T-SQL Operating Systems: Windows XP,
Windows 2003/2008 Server.
TRAVEL:
25% of travel will be to Columbia, Maryland and Chicago, Illinois
