Need .Net Architect, Minneapolis, MN.

My name is Alex, and I am a Manager, Talent Acquisition for KTek Resourcing. K-Tek Resourcing, Inc. is an innovative force in the IT Staffing Industry. Based in Houston, TX. We are Tier one vendors to major pharmaceutical/financial companies and other fortune clients and for same we are searching forward for a .Net Architect for Minneapolis, MN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software development standards
  • Analyze  and design technical solutions to meet business needs
  • Initiate and lead projects aimed at improving business processes through the implementation of new software solutions
  • Conversion of legacy applications to newly defined .NET applications
  • Implement and maintain Source Code Control measures (ex: Team Foundation Server)
  • Diagnose and fix bugs in new and existing solutions
  • Create deployment packages
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to other members of the software development team
  • Provide Tier 2 & 3 support of production systems

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • BS/BA in computer science or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent experience in computer related field
  • 5-10+ years of experience in software development environment using Microsoft  .NET technologies
  • 2+ years of experience providing oversight of development projects following a structured life cycle methodology

Requirements:

  • In depth knowledge of:
    • MS .NET 3.5 (and higher) Framework
    • MS Visual Studio (VB.NETASP.NET), HTML
    • MS SQL Server
    • IIS
    • Web Services
    • EDI/XML
    • MS Office Suite
