Job Description:

General Technical Skills

·          Hands-on experience with ETL development for Data Warehousing and Data Integration projects

·           Solid analytical skills, detail and process-oriented

·          Exceptionally good in handling problem and troubleshooting under pressure

DataStage Skills

·         Proven knowledge and experience with ETL design and development using DataStage Server and Parallel jobs

·         Experience in expanding DataStage capabilities by incorporating Unix or SQL script into ETL jobs

·         Experience in ETL job troubleshooting and performance tuning

·         Proficient in writing Complex SQL statements including DML/DDL statements, analytic SQL, set-based sub-queries

·         In-depth knowledge of SQL tuning techniques such as execution plan, join order, indexing and hint, etc

·         Experience with PL/SQL programs Sequence, function and procedure, etc

·         Familiar with Oracle 10g or 11g environments and 'TOAD/Oracle PL-SQL Builder for Oracle' user interface

Unix Shell Scripting Skills

·         Experience in writing Unix shell scripts to manage files and manipulate data in the file

·         Execute ETL jobs or SQL scripts using shell scripts
