We are looking for a Business Analyst for our client in Little Rock, AR. Preferably locals and must be able to come for Face to Face interview.

 

Title: Business Analyst

Job Location: Little Rock, AR

Duration: 6+ Months
Locals Preferred – In-Person Interview MUST

This position is a mid-level analyst position responsible for research, analysis, and documentation of Requirements and Testing for large to medium size projects to implement Web-based solutions to meet business needs throughout the corporation. Position responsibilities include translating system modification requests into detail system requirements and specifications, interfacing between users and application developers, researching technical solutions, and recommending solutions to meet business needs.

• Serves as interface between technical staff and user community, management, contractors, and business partners.
• Manages responsibilities on large to medium size enhancements with minimal guidance.
• Analyzes corporate business processes and streamlines workflow.
• Supports cost benefit analysis, justification statements, and impact analysis for system reengineering and implementation of new technologies.
• Maintains project documentation on all projects and ensures all project correspondence (i.e. scope documents, business requirements, process business decisions), meeting notes, and other project related materials are kept in an organized manner.
• Keep team abreast of status.
• Trains designated super users on system maintenance and testing procedures.
• Manages user testing and reports results.

Required Skills

·  Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

·  Advanced PC experience in Windows and Microsoft Office products.

·  Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

·  Proven good judgment, work in a professional environment and maintain confidentiality.

Required Experience

Education: 4 year college degree in computer science, business, or finance or equivalent work experience.

• Ability to work with end-users and technical staff.
• Experience working in a team environment

Preferred:

• Experience in life and disability insurance industry
• Familiarity with COMPASS system
• Experience with web projects and Agile methodology
• IIBA certification
