The Ohio Department of Education desires to procure a Staff Augmentation Programmer 3 candidate that has extensive experience in the following areas:
Informatica PowerCenter 8 (Designer, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitor)
Oracle 10 - SQL, Query tuning, Schema (table, view, synonym definition and troubleshooting)
Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
Design skills - Read specifications and design and code software to create described functionality.
Testing skills - Create and run test scenarios that fully test created software components.
ODE is looking for an individual with proven problem solving skills and the ability to research and resolve issues with limited guidance.
The primary role of the Informatica Developer is to design, develop, test, and utilize Informatica to generate the defined deliverables, to perform quality assurance reviews of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, to perform data analysis and other tasks as assigned. The contractor will be expected to follow agreed guidelines, and to complete assigned tasks efficiently and timely.
The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team. Programmers typically are involved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work. Programmers have a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by the Application Team. The Programmer works with the Functional Architect and Technical Architecture Specialist on an as needed basis to ensure that design and code meets customer requirements.
