Position :Sr Network Analyst
Location: Johns Creek, GA
Duration: 6 months+

This senior level person utilizes highly developed analytical skills
to recognize, troubleshoot and resolve network issues across the
enterprise. They monitor the network environment, insure proper
performance and operation is taking place and take proactive
corrective action to resolve issues. This position will provide
immediate response and/or investigation of network system alerts or
abnormalities as a trouble shooter in a complex network environment.
Without this position we cannot provide the quality of service our
clients are dependent upon.

Provide senior network support for troubleshooting and resolving
network related incidents, providing assistance to analysts and staff
analysts to reduce impact and maintain maximum uptime. Provide Sniffer
capture and decode. Perform detailed packet analysis via data packet
capture to rule out network issues and provide diagnostics for
application and server problems. Coordinate workload, training and
mentoring of junior associates Assist customers both internal and
external with connectivity problems as they relate to the network.
Assist with client testing, new implementations, new product access,
and DR testing. Ability to communicate with Business unit management
and/or their clients disseminating information relevant to the client
request in a clear and concise manner. Resolve issues and deal with
difficult situations, bringing a high degree of professionalism and
tact during stressful circumstances, represent client as a quality
organization.

Excellent commendation skills, well spoken, ability to deal with
clients and managers at various levels, work with engineers & vendors.
Must be outgoing, self-starter and be able to resolve complex issues
with limited supervision or direction.
Proficiency in Cisco routers and switches, Microsoft Office
Applications and Visio Diagramming. Excellent oral, written,
analytical skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical employees.
Must be able to work as a team member in a technical project environment.
Must be self-motivated and able to think "outside the box."
Thorough understanding of LAN/WAN technology and protocols including
but not limited to BGP, EIGRP, HTTP, FTP, TCP, and Spanning Tree.

Experience configuring and independent troubleshooting of Cisco
Switches and Routers. Experience with troubleshooting WAN and LAN
connectivity issues.
Knowledge of BGP& EIGRP is necessary. Knowledge of load balancing
concepts is required. Specific knowledge of Brocade and Cisco Load
Balancing products is desirable. Working knowledge of CheckPoint &
Juniper Firewalls is a plus.
