Need - Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) in AR

Hello,

 

We are looking for Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) with one of our direct client.

 

Location:             Little Rock, AR

Duration:             12+ Months

 

The candidate must have a superior knowledge as well as be able to demonstrate technical proficiency in Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 with experience in managing medium to large environments. The candidate must have a solid understanding of standard client/server, networking, and Internet fundamentals. The candidate should be able to effectively troubleshoot all aspects of System Center and understand the configuration and ongoing maintenance for the patch management, software distribution, asset management, and device management in detail. Projects this year will design/engineering/implement the adoption of SCCM 2012. This person will implement Microsoft System Center 2012 therefore should be an expert in deploying SCCM, SCSM and SCOM 2007. The focus, to start with, will be on SCSM followed by SCOM and related products.

 

Qualified candidates must be able to provide references that can support previous experience with Microsoft Systems Center.

Individual will be expected to IMMEDIATELY contribute to the improvement of the existing Enterprise by identifying issues and suggesting policy and procedure improvements to management.

 

Daily duties in this position will be:

Configuring and Deploying SCSM 2012

Configuring and Deploying SCOM 2012

Configuring and Deploying SCCM 2012

Reporting with SCCM 2012

Deploying updates with SCCM 2012

Scripting experience

Provide 3rd level support for server support for the SCCM environment.

Evaluates current procedures and processes for accomplishing department objectives and continuously develops and implements improved practices.

Responsible for proper escalation, communications, and management of production system problems

Ensuring compliance to appropriate ITIL processes and standards

Responsible of the creation, management and upkeep of run-books, standards and build documents including DR plans

Other duties as assigned

 

Selected individual will be able to demonstrated experience and knowledge in these critical areas:

Microsoft Systems Center products

Microsoft Server Operating systems (2003 to 2008 R2)

Microsoft Hyper-V

Scripting  (VB, PowerShell, MSI, WMI)

Microsoft Active Directory

Microsoft SQL Server (as it relates to Systems Center)

 

Added value skills:

SAN support

SharePoint 2010 use and administration
