Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments.
Adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation
Participate in design reviews and provide solid input.
Understand and comply to Project Life cycle Methodology in all planning steps.
Participate in code reviews
Identify/troubleshoot application code related issues.

Required

 

Undergraduate degree
Minimum 8 or more years current work experience with Strong background in Java and JEE
Strong technical trouble shooting skills
Experience with Unix and/or Linux
Experience with full systems development lifecycle.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.

Nice to have
Linux and Unix experience
Understanding of Fixed Income products
Experience with BMC Control-M products
Oracle experience

 

 

Additional Skills:

Solid experience in Java, design patterns and OO design techniques.
Solid experience in Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JMS, JNDI, WebServices, XML, Spring, JUnit, Hibernate
Solid experience in Flex SDK 4.5, Action Script 3.0, Flash Builder, BlazeDS/LCDS, DataGrids
Solid experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Struts
Expert experience in Eclipse, IBM RAD, Flex /Flash Builder, SVN, Maven, SSO
Experience working with WAS 6.x for 6 yearsExpert design, coding, testing and debugging skills
Expert experience in Java, design patterns and OO design techniques.
