One of the nations leading media and entertainment companies is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Developer to join their NYC based team. The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Salesforce Developer include: Responsible for designing and building solutions to extend the value of Salesforce. Responsible for designing and building solutions to extend the value of Salesforce and integration to other third party solutions Works closely with Analyst, Administrator, and Project Manager on all aspects of Salesforce Capable of assessing the impact of proposed changes to other process areas and systems. Ability to recommend alternative solution choices, determining trade-offs and impact analysis Resolves issues, designing (or re-design) of custom objects, development using APEX, force.com and Visualforce. Developing integration processes using Salesforce.com's Web Services API and third-party integration tools (Apex Data Loader, etc). Using the salesforce.com platform and the force.com developer toolkit (i.e. Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, and Web Services & Metadata APIs), builds salesforce.com product extensions and develops new native products The ideal candidate will possess: 3+ years experience in Salesforce.com development including experience with the Toolkit,  creating custom objects, workflows, triggers, S-Controls, Force.com and VisualForce development and the Apex programming language Experience with Apex Data Loader, Eclipse, MS access, SQL server, Excel Proficiency in HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C#, SOAP-based web services Experience in developing SFDC custom objects and work-flow business rules
