Job Description:
Successful candidates for java developer positions will design, develop and implement multi-tiered web application functionality for java banking applications.
The candidate will maintain existing and develop new java code while adhering to appropriate coding standards, software development methodologies and process flows.
Requirements:
6 + years experience as a java/j2ee developer
Experience with java/j2ee applications, spring framework, (mvc) struts, webservices, websphere, irad and oracle
Experience with all three layers- user interface / business logic / database
Systems analysis and functional design experience is required, along with a thorough knowledge of oracle database concepts and relational databases
The candidate should be a high energy individual with a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be a solid team player.
Financial services or banking industry experience is preferred, not required
