Title: System/Web Server Administrator

Location: Dedham, MA

Duration: 3 – 6 months

Start: ASAP

Rate: DOE

 

This is mainly a System Administrator who has a strong background working with web applications and infrastructure for Windows/LINUX.  Please send me a good Windows/LINUX Administrator who has a strong background with web applications (IIS, Apache, etc.)

 

·         3+ years experience in system administration

·         2+ years with web server administration

·         The web system administrator/analyst must have demonstrable expertise with the following:

o        Web server software:  Apache, IIS 6+, Tomcat

o        Windows 2003, 2008

o        Linux (LAMP ideally)

o        MS SQL 2005, 2008

o        DNS

o        TCP/IP

o        Physical and VM server management

·         The administrator should also have considerable experience with some, if not most of the following:

o        CDNs (Akamai, Limelight, etc)

o        Conventional and cloud based hosting solutions (Rackspace, Amazon, etc)

o        Web development familiarity (CF, PHP, JSP, .Net, etc)

o        Version control systems (SVN, CVS, etc)

o        Bug tracking systems (Trac, Bugzilla, etc)

·         Other DB systems (MySQL, PostGRE, Oracle, etc)
