Duration : 6+months

Location : Scottsdale, AZ

 

JOB DUTIES:
• Work as an individual contributor with minimum support from Management
• Have outstanding technical leadership approach to solve problems with minimum resources
• Hands on in analyzing product development design and articulate expected testing approach
• Produces test that provide sufficient test coverage for areas of responsibility
• Interfaces with other functional teams on aspects of the feature or sub-system
• Frequently interfaces with dev leads, Dev managers, Project Managers and X-Vertical QA Leads and Managers
• Write data-driven, white box/APIs and UI test automation
• Maintain and create new automated test cases using C++/Java/Python/Perl/Shell/TestNG/Selenium
• Be proactive to take new initiative and drive it to completion
• Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk
• Design and modify automated test frameworks as required
•

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of 6 years experience in fast-paced software industry with an in-depth understanding of QA methodologies.
• Working knowledge of front-end and back-end applications
• Ability to document and track defects, as well as produce detailed reports using defect tracking tools
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles
• Experience with data-driven, white box test automation, components and system level testing using C++, Java or any other OO language
• Understanding of Object Oriented design and methodologies
• Working experience in UNIX and SQL
• Must have programming experience in Java, C++, Perl or Python
• Solid knowledge of web applications
• Strong team player yet able to work with minimum supervision
• Strong understanding of database concepts
Experience with Selenium automation is desired
