Role Java Developer

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 1 Year

Min Java Experience: 7+ Years

 

This position will need 7 years ++ experience in the areas of interface development and facilitate successful solution design. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with the entire project team, Distribution management, and business owners and all Corporate IT groups. The Developer must be able to manage and organize the entire spectrum of project activities assigned, as it relates to interfaces, from planning, to detailed solution design, to full implementation. Java, J2EE, JDBC JDK programming - versions 1.5 or 1.6 or higher OR XML Technologies a plus Documenting requirements for each interface. Knowledge of Web Services development Creation and execution of test plans Interface troubleshooting and problem resolution. Interface between the departmental users/clients and the various divisions of Distribution; Document integration workflow Create and execute test plans for each interface. Coordinate user and internal testing; Develop turnover documentation of interfaces to support. Develop and execute Unit, Integration and Regression test plan ensuring the integration between EMRs as per agreed upon requirements. Resolve and re-test identified errors and problems; Development of Java based applicationTroubleshoot production application issues. Provide day-to-day operational support for Interfaces Assist with coordination of vendor activities including hardware and software installation; Test new systems, version upgrades, interfaces and other system modifications; Provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis; Travel throughout all facilities within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and other Emerging Health clients, as needed; Knowledge of implementation of QA requirements and SDLC methods.   Applicant must meet ALL of these requirements.   Description: The Java Developer is responsible for the successful and on-time completion of all implementation components and tasks associated and assigned.
