QA Architect/Manager

Location: Chicago, IL

Length: 6+ months

This is a combo relationship manager and QA professional. 

 

While they need a strong QA background the role doesn't necessarily mean that they will be doing QA Manager stuff but rather like an internal consultant advising, traffic controlling and working with executive management in the LOB's.  These are new LOB's client is establishing relationships with and establishing from a Quality Practice perspective the QuAD model.

 

The focus will be in the consumer side of house (Card, CBB and Mortgage Banking) – so if there is someone with that experience in the bank and has strong relationships already in place that would be an added bonus.

 

BANKING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!!

IMPECCABLE COMM. SKILLS REQUIRED

§ 7-10 Years of QA Architecture and Leadership experience.

§ Background should include a working knowledge of UNIX and/or LINUX operating systems and basic SQL querying skills.

§ Demonstrated QA skills with  complete product cycles, from inception to market delivery.

§ Candidates must be capable of working successfully in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.

§ In-depth knowledge of structured testing methodologies.

§ Knowledge of project management practices.

§ Strong planning and analysis skills.

§ Solid written/verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities, with good planning, organizational, and follow-up skills required.

§ Demonstrated ability to lead projects across organizational boundaries.

§ Results oriented, decisive, innovative, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines with high quality deliverables.

§ Proven ability to influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization.

§ Experience with defect tracking systems
