Role: Performance Test Architect

Duration: 6 months

Location: Mooresville, NC

 

Purpose:

·         Develops and maintains a complete picture view of the project, it's dependencies, performance  goals, and technology

·         Provides Technical Leadership to the Performance Test Team and Client Testing Center

·         Assist with overall Performance Test Strategy development for large and complex projects

·         Technical Authority on Performance objectives and deliverables for non-functional requirements

·         Assist with Performance Test Plan development

·         Completely understands Non-Functional and QoS requirements and works with the Performance Team and client Testing Center to translate requirements into testable solution

·         Validates NFR and QoS requirements and seeks clarity from project management, stakeholders, and business

·         Responsible for adjusting Performance Test framework for large and complex projects

·         Responsible for planning performance proof of concepts and demos for new applications                                                 

·         Maintains overall application(s) knowledge and is able to guide Performance Test Team 

·         Analyzes testing technologies and makes appropriate suggestions to enhance and guide the testing direction

 

Relationships & Communication:

·         Effectively communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close

·         Facilitates complex group meetings and conducts information gathering sessions

·         Prepares and delivers presentations to business and technology partners, senior management and executives, selecting the appropriate approach based on the audience

·         Resolves conflicts/issues and escalates others as appropriate

 

Development & Coaching:

·         Assist with developing strategy for Performance test activities for team members

·         Provides expertise, direction, coaching and development to build the team capability

·         Continually enhances own skills and builds knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and information systems

HP Performance Center/Loadrunner Suite

HP Quality Center

HP Quick Test Professional

Process Knowledge:

·         Use of Performance Testing tools

·         Testing approaches/methodologies

·         Quality Controls

·         Communication Skills

·         Facilitation Skills

·         Presentation Skills

·         Risk Assessment methodologies

·         Conflicts and issues resolution and escalation

 

Business Knowledge:

·         Business applications/ processes

 

Systems Knowledge

·         Relevant technologies within the client IT foot print

·         Monitoring technologies for client IT Infrastructure

·         Project Management, IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM & audit requirements

·         Programming Experience

·         Knowledge of client domain. Requires deep understanding of technologies and tools
