The Consultant will work with various business units in a highly collaborative environment to verify requirement definition and application development, meet the needs of the business.  The resource will act as a lead for overall systems testing, the migration of applications to production, develop documentation, participate in the development of departmental technical procedures and user guides to support efforts.  They will be considered a SME on .NET technologies, and work to ensure issues are discovered and resolved appropriately regardless of time of day or week.  They will also assure process quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.

 

Required Skills:

• Proficient with VB.NET, ASP.NET and T-SQL

• Familiar with Microsoft Reporting Services and SQL Server Integration Services

• Demonstrated ability working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

• Demonstrated ability to work with and effectively communicate ideas across business and technical groups

• Strong multi-task orientation with ability to prioritize workload

• Financial services experience, specifically card products

 

The contract position will be in direct support of existing applications and processes.  A variety of small, medium and large initiatives are planned for the year and this position will have an opportunity to support a wide array of projects.  Our primary focus is in operational automation with SQL Server as our core database environment.
