Experience/ Technical Skills Requirements:
· 10+ years QA, Performance testing, or related experience.
· 6+ years of experience with coding and executing performance test scripts with Mercury Loadrunner.
· 5+ years of experience with QTP.
· Minimum 5 years of experience developing and reviewing SQL queries.
· Minimum 2 years of experience with Quality Center.
· Deep knowledge of QA processes.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people.
· Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
· Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient.
· Possess a BA or BS from an accredited university.
Responsibilities:
A successful candidate must have a passion for the performance engineering profession and previous experience leading a successful performance team. The candidate must be proficient in defining and executing appropriate performance strategies/plans, success metrics and leading remote or offshore teams.
General responsibilities include:
· Lead a team of top notch performance testers.
· Develop and oversee performance strategies and approaches. Including creating performance metrics and ensuring all websites are performing to the agreed upon SLAs.
· Writing and maintain load runner scripts for various websites.
· Work through bottlenecks, provide escalation management, balance business needs with technical constraints.
· Provides regular updates to the Director, business division leaders and executives.
· Conduct regular meetings with IT and the business to foster team work, open communication, partnership, and alignment.
· Ensuring personal technical skills are kept up to date resulting in most effective use in the business place.
· Adhering to industry standards and the Technology Service Group-defined guidelines and principles for performance engineering.
Job Description:
The Performance team is responsible for the performance testing of various websites. The team works closely with the Development Team and the Project Management Office on approved scheduled projects. The performance test environment is Loadrunner 9.5 with QTP and QualityCenter. The individual will have working relationships with various teams within the Technology Service Group and other divisions such as the Technology Service Applications Development team, Technology Service Network Operations team, members of the PMO (e.g., Project Managers), outside vendors and consultants, business units, backend systems, customer service teams, production support teams.
