Pay is somewhat flexible depending on experience.

 

Functions:

Develop Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) code, configure, test, debug and document

 

Minimum Preferences:

Bachelor's degree with at least six years of related experience in ABAP.

Good communication is needed for this position. The contractor will be communicating with many clients and users.

A bonus skill set would be SAP Functional knowledge of any of the three SAP modules; PP,MM, or SD.

 

Perform technical analysis, development, testing and troubleshooting of a SAP application in a 24x7 capacity following IT standards and SOX controls with minimal guidance.

Prepares technical documentation.

Ensures documentation and systems are aligned Prepares detailed technical specifications based on functional and user needs Ensure the execution of testing against detailed design specifications Integrate solutions with Warehouse Management, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, Finance and Controlling modules Provide input on Axle Alliance Company system development lifecycle processes Implement technical solutions to support end users needs.

Support and communicate with end users and other technical staff, meeting or exceeding established service level agreements Provides technical direction to off-shore development resources Uses past development experience and knowledge to ensure off-shore quotes for development are appropriate based on complexity of requirements Troubleshoot and optimize system performance Infterface monitoring, support and development Monitoring, support and development of SAP Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions

 

Required Skills / Experience

 

Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) development Data extraction for reporting from SAP R/3 systems Intermediate Document (IDOC) support and development System Development Lifecycle Business requirements gathering and documentation Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 is a plus SAP R/3 to ECC 6.0 upgrade experience is a plus Excellent communication skills with both functional teams, technical teams and users in written and verbal forms
