Job Description:

 

 

·         Responsible for the installation, administration, optimization, monitoring, tuning and backup/retrieval of enterprise Cache databases.

·         Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining user access, space management, database refreshes, and database security. Monitors database for potential problems and creates end-user reports.

·         May write and tune SQL code.

·         May participate in data migration activities or work with application development teams to provide database access and knowledge.

·         Establishes and maintains policies, standard operating procedures, and associated documentation for user interaction with the database environment.

·         A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Database Administrator is required.

·         Experience with Cache and/or Ensemble systems is required.

·         DSM Database experience is a plus, in regard to conversions to Cache/Ensemble
