Qualifications:
The candidate must have a strong performance analysis background as well as outstanding communication abilities.
5 to 10 years of hands-on web development experience, specifically with J2EE, IBM WebSphere Application Server & HTTP/Apache server, WebSphere Portal Server and Tibco suite of EAI and workflow tooling.
Capable of quickly solving urgent performance issues and performing application, infrastructure and security design reviews.
Candidate must have solid background with integrating web designs and frameworks into large web and online applications (hundreds of concurrent users)
7 to 10 years of hands-on large-scale Unix AIX and Red Hat Linux design and integration
7 to 10 Years of related technology experience, working with multiple technologies and complex, large scale systems, in a technology leadership position, preferably in the financial services industry Consumer Lending application space
TIBCO EMS - Business Works, TIB EMS 4.x or newer
TIBCO BPM/Workflow tooling – 2+ years iProcess experience required. Active Matrix experience is a plus
2+ years of experience with TIBCO Designer 5.x or newer, TIBCO Rendezvous 7.x or newer, TIB TRA 5.x or newer, TIBCO SDK 5.x or newer, TIBCO Administrator 5.x or newer, TIBCO Hawk 4.x, TIBCO MQ Adapter
Portal Experience – 1+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere Portal Server required, preferably with WebSphere Portal Factory/Web Experience Factory development
Preferred:
Experience with Business Rules Management Systems – JRules and/or Blaze preferred.
Professional experience with Tibco Active Matrix is a significant plus.
Discipline-specific technical certifications preferred

The incumbent for this position works as part of a small cross-discipline re-engineering and design team on large/complex environments containing multiple operating systems, multiple infrastructure applications and networked technology. This role focuses on the use of Tibco products and will serve as a subject matter expert in support of numerous large projects in the domain. The incumbent will primarily focus on analyzing current and projected application demand and defining appropriate web application and web reporting strategies to meet the projections, incorporating Tibco technologies where appropriate. The role is very hands-on, with the incumbent designing and assisting/consulting on code development. The candidate will also be engaged on numerous urgent projects and short turnaround management initiatives. Also, plans and leads complex Proofs of Concept and sets vision for technology direction. Proactively identifies opportunities while handling highly complex system problems and challenges.
Responsibilities:
Working with in-house AD teams and technology leads, handles web and application server, web development and operating system performance issues through analysis and hands-on corrective action using Tibco technologies
Provides insight and vision on new technology directions
Builds proofs of concept and executes them
Meets with management to advise on new technologies and design alternatives
Drives performance enhancements and productivity improvement opportunities
Works on numerous urgent short duration management projects, delivering creative solutions to complex web application issues
Often called upon to assist troubled projects
Assists in lowering overall TCO by ferreting out infrastructure and application design inefficiencies and recommending corrective action
Scans the technology horizon to identity new emerging technologies that have relevance for the LOB
Builds awareness of key emerging technologies and promotes to the business in order to address their issues
This will be achieved through the use of secondary published sources, research companies and the individual's informal network of contacts both within Citi and within the industry
Leads proof-of-concepts and assists in preparing emerging technology proposals
Assists development teams during the analysis, concept and design processes
Leads competing system rationalization and standardization agenda to select target application portfolio
Develops summary and detailed presentations to promote strategies and recommendations which often include diagrams, descriptive text and matrices
May participate in business case creation in support of architectural directions, making key decisions and providing input to expense control and/or revenue generation
