The Web Administrator is responsible for the support and maintenance of Jackson's multiple web sites. Duties include installing software, monitoring uptime, producing reports, capacity planning, and 24-hour/7-day support.
Qualifications
Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- BROAD BASE of experience in Jboss, Weblogic, Websphere, and Apache.
- Strong Unix experience;
- Strong Unix scripting experience;
- Knowledge of Linux, AIX and/or Solaris operating system(s);
- Production and customer focus;
- Familiarity with JAVA;
- Familiarity with NT, networking protocols, and general web programming languages;
- Strong communication and analytical skills;
- Good understanding of the software development process;
- Willing to learn new technologies; and
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
