Job title: QA Engineer w/ HIPAA exp

Location:  Lexington, MA

       Duration: 8 months +

Max Rate: $DOE/hr on C2C

 

Required Skills:

This contract position will be for a member of the software engineering team at our client, developing the company's first diagnostic product.

Responsibilities

·        Work with the software engineering team to develop and execute test cases mostly manual with the likelihood of going automated.

·        Perform traceability from requirements, use cases, and test cases

·        Perform ad-hoc testing

·        Set up and maintain a defect tracking system

Qualifications

·        Minimum of 3 years relevant job experience.

·        Bachelor's degree of commensurate experience

·        Experience working in medical device development, including experience with 21 CFR Part 820,  21 CFR Part 11, and HIPAA is a strong plus

·        Automated test techniques and experience working in an Agile/XP team is a plus

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with medical device development.  The desire to work in an Agile software team is required.
