Business Objects (BOBJ) Developer
· Development of the financial reporting solutions within DTTL, primarily using Business Objects (BOBJ) applications integrated with SAP Business Warehouse (BW) application.
· Develop dashboard and executive report using SAP BOBJ tools such as Xcelsius and Crystal based on existing functional specs
· Develop web based reports using HTML and JavaScript. Integration with SAP BW Web Application Designer (WAD).
· Work with SAP Portal team to link reports to Firm Information Portal as required.
· Work with the SAP BW database modeling team members to communicate report requirements and test data modeling changes.
· Document test plans and complete Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of developed reports. Work with Quality Assurance resources to complete System and Integration Testing.
· Proactively analyze and communicate report development issues, including problems with data integrity, data design, and functional and technical software issues.
· Understand, interpret, and document reporting requirements and resolve complex design issues impacting reports.
· Report status, communicate project issues, and participate in project meetings as required.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years experience with BOBJ XI 3.1, integration with SAP BW is a MUST
· Minimum 4 years experience with SAP Business Warehouse 7.x is a must. 1 years experience with SAP BW WAD web development including HTML and JavaScript is required. Experience with multi-dimensional/relational data models and a general data warehouse concept is beneficial.
· Experience with SAP BI Business Explorer Analyzer (BEx), SAP BI Web Query development using the Web Application Designer
· Understand different connectivity options to integrate SAP BOBJ and SAP BW
· Reporting tools, Business Objects Crystal Reports and Xcelcius are a MUST
· Working knowledge with universes is required
· Familiarity with Project Development Lifecycle methodology a must, ASAP methodology preferred.
· Must have completed at least 2 full BOBJ implementation life cycles.
· Experience with financial systems and accounting would be beneficial in order to understand the complexities of the financial reporting environment and to be able to apply previous experiences to improve the existing system and processes.
· Strong ability to work independently is a MUST
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
· Strong written and oral communication skills required (English)
