Title: Jr . Java Developer

Duration: 12 months

Location : Reston, VA

 

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

•2+ years relevant Technical Consulting/Leadership experience

•2+ years of experience in systems integration and development, package implementation, and/or interactive design, and systems production support

•Can demonstrate substantial knowledge of at least 5 of the following technology platforms/languages: J2EE /JEE, EJB, JSP, HTML, DHTML, XML, SOAP, JavaScript, MVC patterns, JavaScript, Java, PL/SQL, C/C++, RDBMS, CORBA, .NET, COM / DCOM

•Minimum of 2 years of experience in full lifecycle software development processes and methods including unit testing all work and delivering an error-free technology component to the team

•1+ years of experience utilizing programming languages such as JAVA, C++, C#, and SQL

•High level of written and oral communication in the English language

•Demonstrate poise, confidence and professional maturity to interface with senior-level executives in a clear and concise manner

•Open to 50% travel as required to meet the needs of the projects

Preferred:

 •Relevant certifications and licenses a plus

•Self-starter requiring minimal supervision

•Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multi-task assignments

•Flexibility to meet and exceed company and client expectations

•Demonstrate ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation

•Experience in a consulting and/or IT environment is preferred

•Ability to articulate a vision of the total solution

•Ability to define, create, and complete a technical task without a great deal of guidance

•Experience in meeting deadlines in a high pressure environment

•Software package expertise a plus (IBM Web sphere , BEA Web logic, Meta solve, Oracle, Work Flow tools, OSS BSS systems)
