Senior iOS Architect/Lead  --  3 openings

Contract/Full Time

Cupertino, CA.

 

Looking for a Sr. iOS Architect / Lead for designing and developing iOS based client application for a distributed large scale point of sale product.

The job involves being the lead and architect for the upcoming iOS client application, and architecting, designing, developing the apps along with mentoring and guiding the team. The job also involves active communication and problem solving.

Skills/ Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of overall software architecture and design experience; overall 7-10 years of software experience
• At least 3 years of iPhone/iPad hands on architecture, design and development experience, with at least ONE published universal application for iOS
• Excellent communication and client facing skills.
• Ability to be the mentor and go-to person for technical needs.
• Have a detailed understanding of iOS architecture, memory, caching, web services, SDK etc
• Extensive experience with Xcode 4.0 and Instruments
• Must have development experience in custom UI components
• Have REST API programming experience with JSON
• Have solid understanding of system engineering and object oriented design patterns
• Have solid understanding of multi-threading application and memory management.
