Location: Nashville, TN

Contract period:  12 months

Start date: March 1^st 2012

 

Job Description:

1. 5 – 7+ years of relevant experience as Solaris Administrator

2. Should understand Performance Tuning concepts in Solaris

3. Should have good knowledge about Zones, ZFS, SMF, SVM, RBAC, NFS

4. Should have working knowledge about DNS, LDAP, NIS

5. Should have hands on experience on working with Veritas Volume Manager and SAN

6. Should understand the concepts of Jumpstart installation and various other modes of installation of Solaris Servers

7. Knowledge about Shell Scripting and Perl Scripting

8. Windows knowledge would be an added advantage

9. Should have knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Service 2008

10. Knowledge of Beyond Trust PowerBroker

11.Ability to work unsupervised (required skill)

12. Ability to learn new skills (required skill).
