Title: MS IIS Web Administrator

Location: Chantilly, VA

Duration: 3 Months

Rate: DOE

 

 

Web Admin position who is responsible for following tasks

·         Builds

·         Deployment

·         Production monitoring

·         With knowledge on .NET application

 

Following are the requirements.

·         Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Software Industry with minimum 5 years of managing .Net based applications.

·         Must have expertise in IIS6 and IIS7 management.

·          Must be knowledgeable with automated build tools such as NAnt, Cruise control, Builds via Team Foundation Server or equivalent.

·         Must have experience in web site / web application deployment.

·         Web farm / web pool management experience.

·         Experience in developing web monitoring scripts, reviewing various performance counters etc.

·         Knowledgeable in load balancer technologies.

·         Knowledgeable to develop VB Scripts, deployment scripts.

·         Knowledge of various IT audit is preferred but not essential.

·         Understanding of software development cycle.

·         Should be knowledgeable with Windows Server 2003 / Windows Server 2008.

·         General knowledge of networking.

·         Understanding of database technologies primarily in SQL Server administration. [The candidate is not expected to be database administrator but should have hands on in developing SQL scripts etc.]
