COGNOS ADMIN:

The responsibilities of the Cognos Administrator will include:

·          Supporting ongoing production maintenance for automated time keeping system

·          Installing, maintaining, and configuring Cognos Application server.

·          Monitoring and performance tuning various applications utilizing Cognos

Required Skills & Experience

·          Cognos infrastructure

·          Database Integration

·          Tuning and configuring Cognos Servers

·          Development and deployment of Cognos reports

·          Cognos application 8 and higher

·          Oracle

·          IBM DB2/UDB

·          Multiple operating systems (e.g., AIX, Solaris, Windows, z/OS, etc.)

·          Networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, SSL, etc.)

·          Identifying and escalating risks uncovered during testing and suggesting remediation actions

·          Coordinating test and rollout schedules with other Infrastructure teams
