-IMMEDIATE NEED A CONSULTANT-

 

Title:         Sr QA Tester

Location: Pontiac, MI or El Paso, TX

Length:     6-12+ Months Contract 

 

Overview:

QA Testing Consultant will be responsible for the testing, benchmarking, and support of the TESTING in a Data warehousing Project. This responsibility includes performance tuning, benchmarking the performance matrices, and identifying the bottlenecks. This resource will play a key role in the success of deploying the company vision for emerging technologies and growth strategies.

 

Requirements:

1.       Must have 6-8 years experience in Test Plan - Test Strategy Development  including:

a.       Developing test cases from business requirements

                                                   i.      Experience doing Reqmt Traceability

                                                  ii.      Experience with Quality Center tool

                                                iii.      Experience in QTP - prefer candidates with several years of automation experience

                                                iv.      Experience with test metrics reporting

 QA/TESTING EXP- Heavy QTP

b.       Test execution

2.       Previous experience providing quality assurance test services for projects and systems for a ETL= BI/Data Warehouse projects including: Ab Initio, Informatica, Micro strategy

3.       Previous experience providing quality assurance test services for projects and systems for Middleware solutions including: Message Queue, Java Msg Service, Tibco, Solstice, Green hat, Event

4.       Must have a strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies

5.       Ability to design and develop test cases and experience with automated or manual software testing processes/tools

6.       Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

7.       Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator

8.       Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
