Client is looking for SAP Analyst – Milpitas, CA. This is a 3-6 months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. Local candidates only.

 

Position Title: SAP Analyst

 

Position Description:

 

·         As a SAP Business Systems Analyst you will be part of a dynamic Relationship Management team that is responsible for the Operation IT and the global support of SAP ECC 6.0.

·         This position will be instrumental in architecting solutions and aiding the business in undertaking a planned, global-wide SAP process adoption.

·         This position requires expertise in SAP modules such as MM, FI&CO, SD, PP, SCM and providing guidance and insights to the business and project team members.

·         This team member will provide application/functional support in the module area of Production Planning (PP), procurement, Supply Chain planning, Finance, as well and the integration between MM and other modules. In addition to the project based initiatives this position will also be responsible for the day to day production support tasks.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Develop and deploy new processes and configuration to meet business needs

·         Support end users and respond to system / process problems and requests for assistance

·         Provide support and implement fixes and additional features

·         Analyze data to identify problems or recommend preventive action, research / troubleshoot problems, and provide status proactively

·         Implement additional SAP modules, other add-ons, and system upgrades and participate in UATs

·         Track and fully document change to ensure that issue logs are clearly documented and articulated

·         Proactively provide status on all activities to appropriate stakeholders

·         Perform end user training as well as internal cross training to other team members as necessary

·         Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in the support and/or maintenance of systems

·         Continually strive to enhance or improve business systems processes that drive efficiency through use of best practices

·         Stay abreast of current trends, literature, and technologies around SAP landscape and architecture

 

Required Qualifications:

·         The candidate should have 10+ years of general SAP and I.T. experience with at least 7 years supporting a global organization, including at least 2 full life cycle SAP module implementations.

·         A minimum 7 years of extensive and hands-on configuration and support experience with SAP ECC 6.0 core modules such as Material Master, SD, BW / BI, FI etc. and be a subject matter expert.

·         A thorough understanding of the business processes in planning, procurement, production planning, supply chain, BOM, NPI etc in a global manufacturing setting.

·         A BA/BS Degree is required

·         Good knowledge of PP and MM and SCM integration

·         BW / BI /BOBJ knowledge is highly desirable

·         Excellent understanding of inventory management and financial accounting principles

·         The ability to work in diversified teams, and guide and motivate team members

·         Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task

·         Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills

·         Excellent customer services orientation and experience in business-related interactions

·         Demonstrate the ability to adjust to changes in customer demands or operational goals

·         Results oriented and can demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness

·         Experience writing functional specifications and working with technical team to test conversions, forms, interfaces, and enhancements

 

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

·         SCM experience

·         Experience or exposure to BRD a plus

·         Previous semiconductor industry experience

·         APICS and PMP certification a plus
