Hi,
Our client located in McLean, VA is looking for a Senior Reporting Consultant (Risk Management Compliance). This is a for 3 - 6 Months contract and the hourly rate is DOE. If this is your area of expertise, please review the job outline and let me know if you share an interest in this role.
Project:
Responsible for the provision of timely, accurate and reliable management information and the running and enhancement of reporting systems which facilitate the production of this management information. Incumbents will be responsible for regular and ad-hoc reporting and business reviews as well as the preparation of key presentations and special projects as required. Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. Solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable. Works under limited direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives. Failure to obtain results or erroneous judgments or recommendations would normally result in significant program delays and substantial expenditure of resources.
Represents the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often performs project leadership role. Interacts with senior internal customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines. Ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organization at all levels including, coordinate effectively within the Division, and with external constituents including Freddie Mac¡¦s regulator. College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically has 5 - 7 years related technical experience.
Skill level:
Mid-level (3-7 yrs)
Excellent Excel and Access database skills and overall technical skills
Ability to perform system and process needs analyses and to develop requirements based on user/stakeholder needs
Demonstrated ability to design, produce and implement high quality reports that communicate data, trends, etc., efficiently and effectively
Project management experience including implementing new processes
Experience with issues management tools/GRC
Strong analytical and information synthesis skills
Strong control and process orientation
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and project management skills
Demonstrates attention to detail in all aspects of work including written correspondence, reporting and maintenance of corporate records
