Role: - Senior Network Design Engineer
Location: - Nutley, NJ
Client: - British Telecom
Duration: - 12 + months

Required Skill-set

 

·         Experience in Ethernet switching / IP routing domain

·         Experience in Data communication in L2/L3 layer

·         Hands on experience on Juniper routers and switches preferable

·         Experience in either Manual or Automation (TCL/Perl) testing.

·         Working knowledge of testing Routing protocols such as OSFP, BGP, RIP ,GRE VRF, VRRP, Multicast routing (IGMPV3,IPTV) and the respective RFC’s

·         Should have experience in writing scripts from scratch for test cases

·         Working knowledge of functional testing of L3 Routers and multilayer switches , or CMTS , Cable modems

·         CCNA/CCNP preferable

·         Must have done automation of L2/L3 devices using TCL & Expect ,Shell or Perl in the above areas

·         Experience in writing test cases and creating test design from Requirements and RFC’s

·         Experience in debugging script failures and isolating system/software issues.
