EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Required:

• At least 4 year experience as a senior software engineer.
• At least 8 year experience as a software engineer.
• Deep expertise in core Java programming concepts on Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in SQL programming and stored procedure development.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SQA/SCM (Software Configuration Management) tools.
• Demonstrated experience with OOA/D/P, design patterns, frameworks, and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work with other software engineers and teams to resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and require minimal supervision.
• The ability to acquire domain knowledge quickly.
• Familiarity with using Eclipse for software development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired:

• J2EE (prefer Weblogic) applications programming on Unix/Linux operating systems.
• C/C++ language programming on Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of Linux administration, configuration, and security.
• Experience working with offshore development teams.
• Experience with the MySQL database.
• Fluency in XML.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Master Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
