Position:-Front End Java developer

Location:-Jersy city

Duration:-Long term.

We are currently recruiting for a Strong Front End Java Developer with strong Design/Architecture skills along with hands on development.  Immediate need and immediate interview.   Location is not important as manager will hire the RIGHT candidate over the phone.  Candidates that have been interviewed are not strong enough on the front end.

 

 

Education:

- A related Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Required technical skills:

- Very strong hands on experience with AJAX and ideally Ext JS
- Strong design skills and experience in design patterns
- Hands on experience in designing, developing, and testing systems/applications using J5EE
- Experience with Spring
- Good experience in Application Architecture including Component and SOA systems.
- Experience in transaction processing systems preferably for insurance or financial services systems

Required soft skills:

- Strong team player working in a large diverse and distributed team.
- Strong skills managing on-shore and off-shore development teams of 2-6
- Strong planning skills that include estimates, schedules, dependencies, and risks

Responsibilities:

This position is part of the strategic Chartis Underwriting IT Strategic Program. We are looking for an expert in AJAX application design with java development experience. The candidate will be a hands-on lead / developer who will work side by side with a Usability Engineer and manage an on-shore/off-shore team to extend and develop functionality for a large next generation Insurance system.
