Job Profile: Core Java Developer
Job Place: Plainfield, NJ
Face to face interview required
Required:
- At least 4 year experience as a senior software engineer.
- At least 8 year experience as a software engineer.
- Deep expertise in core Java programming concepts on Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Good experience of Linux High Availability packages
- Knowledge of Linux administration, configuration, and security.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SQA/SCM (Software Configuration Management) tools.
- Demonstrated experience with OOA/D/P, design patterns, frameworks, and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work with other software engineers and teams to resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and require minimal supervision.
- The ability to acquire domain knowledge quickly.
- Familiarity with using Eclipse for software development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired:
- Experience with Pacemaker, Corosync
- J2EE applications programming on Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Experience working with offshore development teams.
- Experience with LAMP technologies.
- Fluency in XML.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required.
- Master Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
