Title: Strong RIA JavaScript/Java Designer (Rich Internet App)

Duration: 9 months

Location: Atlanta, GA

Rate: DOE

 

Our need is now for someone to learn our design and help identify gaps in the requirements and design.  It would be best to find someone who has strong JavaScript experience and ideally can assist with some programming, JQuery experience will be a definite plus.

 

The main points of the position are:

•         RIA

•         JavaScript App (not Flex/Flash or Silver light)

•         Java Design (also desired)

 

Required Skills:

•         RIA JavaScript Design Patterns, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, HTML, JSON, Java, Translate architecture and requirements into documented design for JavaScript and Java developers

•         Fulfill the application blueprint by further refining and specifying the components, services, interfaces, and data necessary for the system to satisfy its requirements.

•         Translate the logical model into physical design specifications.

•         Collaborate with the architect, analysts and development teams.

•         We are looking for someone to do the technical design of the UI.

•        NOT wireframes, prototypes, or screen mock-ups.  This is not a web designer role, it is a technical design role.  Modeling the technical specs for the development team to implement (and probably help write some code as time permits).
