Direct Client:
SAS Administrator / Analyst III
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 18months contract
SAS Administration:
· Responsible for Enterprise SAS infrastructure architecture, design, and planning
· Responsible for Enterprise SAS infrastructure build, development, maintenance, hardware, software and support
· Responsible for conducting enterprise level server, OS, and RDBMS research and staying in tune with industry best practices for the development of business intelligence solutions.
· Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of SAS databases.
· Documentation of SAS applications, configuration and security policies/procedures, programs, systems, manuals, etc.
· Implements and maintains operational and disaster recovery procedures
· Metadata management
SAS Programmer/Analyst:
· Design and configure SAS applications per user requirements
· Demonstrates Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in two or more of these areas as assigned:
- BI Project Management
- BI Production Reporting
- Application Architecture
· Demonstrates Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in one or more of these areas as assigned:
- SAS
- CDW
- MetaVance
- EDM / Symmetry
- PDM / PDS
- ITS
- OARS
- Training
· Metadata management
· Administer user access and security
· Monitor data quality
· Implement data access tools
· Assist users in finding the right information and anticipate what they want
· Train data warehouse users
· Develop metadata management processes and/or systems
