Requirements:
Very Strong Database Skills using Sybase
Strong Perl / UNIX Knowledge
Strong Java J2EE and Flex
Proven track record of the technical design and development of large and complex projects
Excellent Client relationship skills
Strong Credit Risk business and process knowledge
Strong knowledge of the latest technologies and experience working in large multi-tier technology platforms
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to people at all levels
Ability to grasp the detailed issues surrounding complex business problems to ensure the successful implementation of projects
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be developing components within of a number of projects related to Basel II, Policy, Regulatory and counterparty exposure reporting and Credit Information maintenance
This will involve the working with development teams across multiple technology teams both within Wholesale Risk and Front and Middle Office systems, and business groups such as Risk Analytics, CRMS, FIRM and GIRM
The risk technology group has a multi-year initiative to consolidate the existing application estate and to migrate the legacy systems to a strategic platform. This position will allow for the candidate to work closely with the global risk technology team to establish and implement key components within the strategic platform's architecture
This position is to work within the global risk technology development team in the development and build-out of a strategic risk technology platform
Build and maintains relationships with members of the risk business and technology teams and gain an understanding of longer terms goals
Provide accurate estimates and ensure that the development tasks are delivered to agreed project plans
Provide detailed technical analysis and design for assigned projects
Develop software solutions that meet the project requirements
Ensure that the development implementation is of a very high quality and meets all of the required policies and standards
