BASIC PURPOSE: A significant aspect of strong risk management practices mandated by the Fed - is a requirement to have strong reference and master data management practices for Regulatory calculation engines, reporting and analytics to view and report on data from many perspectives. We require an experiencedMDM lead to install, manage, develop and maintain MDM (Informatica MDM or Siperian), Information Delivery (Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse) solutions. This resource will deliver and support several MDM projects and a TM1 implementation with the help of a small offshore team while playing an individual contributor role.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide advanced technical expertise in designing and developing software applications in the MDM and Data Management/Data Warehousing space.
· Oversee systems design and implementations.
· Build development project plans and work with the offshore team to track to those timelines.
· Oversee, maintain and support existing software applications.
· Identify and resolve complex application issues and bugs.
· Review and/or write code to existing and/or new applications.
· Provide subject matter expertise in reviewing, researching and resolving issues against specifications.
· Test new installations and/or software prior to release to minimize failures and impact to business and end users.
· Provides technical support to end-users.
REQUIREMENTS: Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree
· Advanced degree a plus
· 7+ years' work experience
· 3+ years MDM experience
· Financial services experience required
· Risk and compliance experience a plus Skills/Knowledge
· Proficient with Informatica MDM (formerly Siperian) and/or related MDM tools.
· Proficient with TM1 and/or related cube technologies.
· Demonstrated ability to solve problems of diverse scope and working in complex environments.
· Proficient in Data Modeling tools like ERWin or Embarcadero and ETL tools like Data Stage.
· Proficient in Oracle 11G , SQL and PL/SQL development.
· Proficient with RUP development methodology and Clearcase and Clearquest tools.
· Performance tuning experience required.
· UNIX, Windows and security experience required.
· Requires superior communication skills to communicate with business users.
· Ability to lead small teams while working as an individual contributor.
· Ability to lead offshore teams while working onsite.
